Bay County's First Lady of the Year

A local service organization, called Beta Sigma Phi elected Bay County’s First Lady of the Year, Saturday night.

Beta Sigma Phi is a women’s club that is made up of 8 local women.

They volunteer around the community to raise money for many different local charities.

They elected Stacie Galbreath as this year’s first lady.

The organization will honor her for the next year.

Galbreath is heavily involved with the Junior Service League of Panama City.

She was chosen because of her outgoing personality and her extreme dedication to charities in the county.

After she received the award, she said, “I don’t even know how to thank people for this, I mean this is just an incredible honor to me. I don’t do this for thank I don’t do it for recognition, I volunteer in our community for service and I love every minute of it."
