Paul and Sandy Rosengren have both been playing the trumpet since high school.
Some years have passed but they have found a way to stick with their music.
They are part of the original Bay Wind Community Band which began in 1989.
"It's been a wonderful way to keep up with our instruments,” said Sandy. “We played when we were in high school and college. Now here we are, retired and still playing!"
The band is all volunteer.
"If you played in high school, college or even in the military, break your horn out of the old closet, dust it off and bring it in," said Fred Boswell, the conductor of the band.
They play at the high school and college level and they say there is no pressure, but if it has been a while since you have picked up your instrument, you may raise your eyebrows.
"We have plenty of people in the band, sections that will help place ya till ya get your chops back," said Boswell.
They have members throughout the community, some are in middle school and they say there are some in their nineties.
"It's a ‘y'all come’ group,” said Paul. “We'd like to have you come and play. No pressure. No auditions. It comes back fast!"
The concert is Tuesday evening at Sheffield Park in Lynn Haven. It starts at 6:30.
