It’s taken a year, but Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies say they have arrested a suspect in a big burglary at the Coach Outlet Store at Silver Sands in south Walton.
On September 22, 2011 mall security guards discovered someone had broken into the Coach store overnight. They found the back door open and there was a package lying nearby.
That package turned out to be an electronic device that disrupted the store’s burglar alarm system.
The burglar made off with $300,000 in Coach merchandise.
After months of investigating deputies developed 39-year-old Fabian Fabian of Miami as their suspect.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies say he is also a suspect in an Orlando burglary.
He’s being held in the Jackson County jail on bonds totaling $100,000 on the Walton County charges.
