Lynn Haven, FL-- Economists might say the recession is winding down, but it certainly didn't appear that way at Haney Technical Center this afternoon.
Volunteers for the Bay County Job Fair, say they were expecting about 3,000 people and by the look of the parking lot, it's safe to say they exceeded that number.
72 businesses took part in the fair, from the girl scouts to Subway.
And not everyone attending is unemployed, like Charles Sypherd, who says he is looking for something better.
"Just anything to step up out of the lower class. You know, to expand myself, I've got kids, and I really need to give them the life they deserve."
Some companies even hosted one on one job interviews during the fair.
