BONIFAY - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Holmes County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Bonifay man on child porn charges.
In September, the FDLE’s Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Cyber Crime Squad began investigating people using the Internet to collect and distribute child pornography.
On Wednesday, agents served a search warrant at Andrew James Herbert, Jr.’s house in Bonifay. They found hundreds of digital images and video files of child pornography on his computer. Investigators also located evidence that the 31-year-old manufactured child pornography.
Herbert is charged with 29 counts of possession of child pornography.
The FDLE recommends parents visit Secure Florida for tips to keep their children safe from online predators.
