MARY ESTHER, Fla. A Paradise, California man has been indicted here in northwest Florida on a pornography case that drew national attention last year.
A federal grand jury in Pensacola indicted 29-year old Bret Nichols Tuesday on 1-count each of conspiracy to produce, and receive child pornography images and videos.
Nichols is accused of working with an Okaloosa County couple, Corine D. Motley and Brandon C. Gillreath to make child porn from October 2010 to December of last year.
The case broke when Danish National Police downloaded a full-length video, in which a woman was performing sex acts with a 4-to-5 year old child.
Danish Police contacted Homeland Security here in the United States, which released the picture in hopes of identifying her.
Within a day or two, someone identified the Jane Doe as Motley. They arrested Motley and Galbreith at their Mary Esther home. They too were indicted and convicted of similar charges, and are currently serving 29-and-a-half years in federal prison.
Nichols is being held without bond in the Sacramento, California county jail, until he's tried here in the Florida panhandle.
