Callaway Apartment Shooting

One person is in the hospital and two others are in jail after a shooting incident at a Callaway apartment complex Friday afternoon.
Bay County Sheriff's investigators say the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.
It happened a little after 1:00pm at the Abalone Apartments on North Tyndall Parkway.
At least one of the neighbors said he is not surprised this happened.
"I heard two fires. Bam bam. And I looked at my friend and said, man, that was gun fire. So, I called 911."
This man, who did not want to be identified lives a few doors down from apartment 221, where the shooting occurred.
When deputies arrived, they found a woman inside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
"Shots had been fired,” said Lt. Michael Branning with the sheriff’s department. “Officers found one female victim with a gun shot wound to her right shoulder. It appeared to be entry and exit."
They said the woman had been arguing with her boyfriend, 26-year-old Paul Lambert.
The pair reportedly began wrestling over a gun in the woman's purse.
It accidentally fired, hitting Lambert in the forearm and the woman in the shoulder.
Lambert then ran from the apartment.
"He was found about 30 minutes later in a nearby wooded area," said Branning.
Paramedics took the woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lambert was booked into the Bay County Jail, charged with felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence and aggravated battery.
Investigators say Lambert and his girlfriend were staying in the apartment, leased by a relative, 28-year-old Amber Criswell.
Investigators are also charging her with evidence tampering.
Sheriff's investigators say alcohol was a factor in the shooting and said there could be more charges filed in this case.
