Cape San Blas Lighthouse Threatened By Water Damage

Tropical Storm Debby has left her mark on Port St. Joe as well. Debby took up to 16 feet of sand in some places adding to the erosion problems facing the Cape San Blas lighthouse.

It's a problem that Port St. Joe mayor, Mel Magidson is hoping to rectify by moving the lighthouse to a location in Port St. Joe.

The effort calls for $325,000, but so far only $30,000 has been raised.
