Chipley Woman Killed When Struck by Car
A 33-year old Chipley woman was killed Jan. 28 when she was struck by a car along South Boulevard.

Lesley Dingwall, 33, of Chipley was walking her dog along South Boulevard on Jan. 28 when she was struck by a car and killed.
Chipley Police report that Dingwall and her dog were walking west on the north shoulder of South at about 5:30 p.m.
As the car approached, police said, the woman and dog stepped directly into the path of the car and were struck.
The dog was killed immediately, and Dingwall was transported by the Washington County EMS to a Dothan, AL, hospital where she later died.
The car was driven by Katelyn Strickland, 22, of Chipley. Police said they didn't anticipate filing charges after their investigation of the incident.
