Cole Brothers Circus Performer Collapses
Panama City Beach- There was a scary moment during the Cole Brothers Circus show at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Frank Brown Park when one of the performers collapsed.
Circus officials said the 14 year old appeared to have fainted after performing with her family. The bit involved that steel cage where motorcycles drive at high rates of speed in every which direction of the circular contraption.
Officials told NewsChannel 7 the girl performed the routine without any problems, but then fell to the ground just before leaving the steel apparatus.
"She looked at me and there was a glaze in her eyes. She gave me that look like she didn't know where she was, so I got closer. And when I did, she just went down," said Cole Brothers Ringmaster Chris Connors.
Paramedics took the girl to Bay Medical Center as a precaution. Good news is Cole Brothers officials said they expect her to be ok.
