Bay County commissioners are looking to score a seat on the Bay Health Foundation Board of Trustees.
They voted Tuesday to approve three out of the four appointee nominations for the new term for the board.
They voted not to nominate Frieda "Tink" Warren.
Instead, commissioners are hoping that either the chairman or vice chairman of the county commission can take her seat which, they say, would improve the lines of communications between the two groups.
"It'd give us a more direct line of communication for our commissioners. There would be no misunderstanding. We've had a couple of issues to come up in the last year that have kind of caught us off guard. I think this would alleviate that problem," said Commissioner Guy Tunnell.
The chairman of the Bay Health Foundation Board says they'll discuss the topic in their next meeting, January 28th.
