AUGUSTA, GA - The spokesperson at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Georgia says 45 year old Kyle Swearingen is still in critical condition.
He was life-flighted to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center Tuesday afternoon, after suffering very serious 3rd degree burns.
Swearingen and his co-worker 49 year old William Kyle Nunnery were patching concrete on the bell tower at First Baptist Church of Panama City Tuesday morning, when their scaffolding touched a power line.
Swearingen suffered the burns and Nunnery went into cardiac arrest. Rescue teams climbed the tower, performing CPR on Nunnery. He was treated and released from Bay Medical Sacred Heart later that day.
