Couple Arrested After Spending Fake Money at Drive-Thru's

PANAMA CITY BEACH - Panama City Beach Police are charging two people from the Birmingham area with counterfeiting.

Officials arrested 33 year old will Rustin Sprayberry and 30 year old Jennifer Pippin Wednesday morning, after they allegedly passed fake $20 bills at both beach Walmart stores, and a Burger King and a Taco Bell restaurant on Back Beach Road.

Investigators say the pair drove to Panama City Beach and printed the counterfeit bills.

Both are in the Bay County Jail on several charges.

Sprayberry was also wanted by the U.S. Marshall Service for violating probation on a previous counterfeiting conviction in Birmingham.
