The search of the residence revealed a clandestine
methamphetamine lab. Methamphetamine, drug manufacturing
equipment, and drug paraphernalia were seized from the home.
Richard Laron Miller, 35, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Echo Nicole McQueen, 32, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and sale of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a daycare.
Okaloosa County Special Operations personnel also responded
to assist the Drug Task Force. Special Operations personnel were
on scene to assist in the event of a fire or medical issue, and to
decontaminate persons present at the meth lab.
The Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force is
comprised of members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office,
Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Niceville Police
Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
