Jurors are now deliberating their verdict in the first degree trial of 55-year old Phillip Brock.
Brock is accused of killing his friend, 65-year old Terry Brazil, at Brazil's home in mid-December last year.
Brock and Brazil used to run a flea market together, but investigators say Brock killed Brazil to steal some of Brazil's merchandise.
Brock was the only witness to take the stand Friday for the defense.
He explained how he ended up with the items stolen from Brazil's home, some guns, collectible coins and Brazil's Cadillac, saying it was just business.
Brock said in court, "Terry told me to watch his stuff, they took off and went down to Terry's house and later that afternoon they never come back. It started raining. I loaded it up took it, everything to my house and the trailer and put the guns, locked them up in the bus, it's a safe place."
Attorney's presented closing arguments Friday afternoon, then the jury got the case shortly after.
The state is not seeking the death penalty, so if he's convicted, Brock will receive a life sentence.
