Bay County Sheriff's officials are still trying to sort out the details of a stabbing in Panama City Beach Monday night.
It happened a around 7:30 near the intersection of Thomas drive and Joan avenue.
Bay County Sheriff's investigators say someone stabbed a man as he was walking along the side of Thomas Drive.
They questioned 3 men who ran from the scene, but all 3 claim they were chasing the real attacker.
The victim and the 3 men are all locals.
The victim is in stable condition.
Investigators are waiting for him to recover enough to be able to give them a statement about the incident.
They say as long as he fails to cooperate they can't charge anyone.
They also say they believe the stabbing was drug related.
