Double Red Beach Warning Flags are Flying

There is a high rip current risk through Wednesday morning at the Northwest Florida beaches in Walton, Bay and Gulf Counties.

Waves and surf are 3 to 5 foot breakers with southwest winds around 20 mph. Winds will shift to a more westerly and eventually northwesterly direction overnight.

The combination of wind and surf will create life threatening rip currents along the beaches through Wednesday morning.

Double Red Beach Warning Flays are flying in Bay County meaning the beaches are closed to swimmers. Stay Out of the Gulf Water
