The Dream Defenders who slept in the Capitol for 31 days earlier this summer are back to encourage lawmakers to work on Trayvon’s law.
The group met outside between the capitol and historic capitol and eventually went inside of the historic capitol to discuss what the group’s next line of action is.
Although they say there aren’t any meetings with state lawmakers, the group says they will be in clear view for all lawmakers to see during committee week.
Ahmad Abuznaid of the Dream Defenders says, “We’re right across the way from them. So they’ll be seeing us and we’ll be welcoming them in and letting them know Florida’s watching.”
The Dream Defenders say they will be at the Capitol all week.
