A Chipley woman died Sunday night in a two-car near head-on collision.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Falling Waters Road a miles and a half south of County Road 77A.
Troopers identified the fatality as 39 year old Anna Marine Chamberlin Odom.
Odom was traveling north on Falling Waters Road when she approached a hilltop and for some unknown reason crossed over into the lane of traffic an crashed into a pick up truck driven by 59 year old Dwight Birge of Chipley.
Odom died at the scene. Birge was not injured.
