PANAMA CITY BEACH-- Fletcher Isacks owns Isacks Imagery. He has two drones and says they have become the primary source of his income.
When the FAA fined an aerial drone photographer $10,000 for breaking aviation rules, local operators held their breath.
This month, a federal judge said the FAA did not have the authority to issue such a fine.
It was a win for drone pilots.
"As long as we fly these within the radio control parameter, we have the right to fly these and to take pictures and to shoot film what our clients are asking for," said Fletcher.
