Man Going To Prison For Illegal Drug Trafficking

WALTON COUNTY-- A Freeport man will be going to prison after being convicted of drug activity.

Circuit Judge Howard Laporte sentenced 65 year old Arthur Luther Horn III, Tuesday to 30 years in prison.

A jury convicted Horn last month on two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs and one count of possession with intent to sell.

Walton County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Horn in June 2012 at his home, where they found hundreds of prescription pills.

He paid people to travel to South Florida to Doctor-Shop for painkillers at pill mills.

Horn could have received 75 years.

He'll have to serve a minimum of 25 years.

Horn must also pay $350,000 in fines and court costs.
