Thirty foot flames destroyed a home in the Millville area of Panama City Tuesday morning.

It happened around 2-AM on Louisiana Avenue.

It took Panama City fire fighters more than an hour to get the fire under control. With the flames rising so high in the air at one point, fire fighters were forced to use the tower truck.

People on the scene say the man inside the three bedroom home had turned on his heater and awoke later to find his house on fire. But fire fighters can't say for sure what caused the fire just yet. That investigation is continuing.

The good thing is, no one was injured.
