Eleven Arrested in Large Drug Trafficking Organization in Destin

Investigators say they're part of a Destin-based operation group they nicknamed "tres amigos". The case broke in September 2011, with the arrests of a number of the participants. Authorities seized a kilo of cocaine, firearms including an assault rifle, and more than 70,000 dollars in cash.

Two of the suspects were convicted in May, another two in June. Local and federal agents say these 11 arrests are the final phase of their investigation.

All of them are facing either trafficking or possession charges, or both.
