After Florida A&M was placed on probation more than a year ago, the one-year sanction was lifted this week after issues were fixed.
Wednesday morning Interim-President Larry Robinson met with staff about the announcement. There were four key issues FAMU needed to address. Robinson says changes have been enacted to make sure the university isn’t placed back on probation.
“Put in place a number policies from the board level, procedures stemming from those policies you know training for our staff and our administrators,” said Robinson.
The primary issue that landed A&M on probation was an ongoing problem with the universities Office of Audit and Compliance.
