FSU-PC Offering Summer STEM Camps

PANAMA CITY - Your kids can never get enough science, technology, engineering, and math, or STEM, classes.

With that in mind, the Florida State University Panama City campus is offering a series of STEM summer camps.

There are 4 different camps starting in late June and ending in early August. Some will focus on robotics. Others will conduct marine research in the gulf.

All will begin their day at the Holley Academic Center. Organizers say the camps will help set up kids for success in the future.

"If you have a strong math and science background, you can do pretty much anything you want to do and for here in Bay County, that's what we really want for our youngsters. We want them to be able to access any career, that they choose," said Ginger Littleton, STEM Institute Director.

Here's a list of all the camps offered:

Summer STEM Camp for Rising 8th Graders, July 14-18

Summer STEM Camp for Rising 9th and 10th Graders, July 21-25
