FWC Investigating Diving Incident

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officials are investigating a diving incident.

It happened shortly after 12:00 Tuesday afternoon about 3 miles off the Panama City Marina.

Officers say the diver was performing a rather deep dive and resurfaced too quickly.

He apparently experienced a mild case of the bends.

They say that fortunately he did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

To add insult to injury, wildlife officials say the diver's boat also broke down.
