JACKSON COUNTY-- A man is behind bars in Jackson County after he was caught with a gun.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a call this morning from Walmart about a suspicious person inside the story.
Clarence Glisson, 64, loaded almost $600 worth of merchandise into a shopping cart and approached the exit without paying.
Since he never passed the point of sale, he committed no crime. However, a short time later, a deputy stopped him and saw a rifle in his passenger seat.
Glission claimed the gun was not his. Glisson is a convicted felon and his license has been suspended since 1996.
