Okaloosa County deputies were called to Lowe’s in Destin around 12:15 Tuesday afternoon after a man left his jacket and shirt on fire inside the store and ran out.
An employee used a fire extinguisher to put out the small blaze. Deputies found a white substance with the burning jacket.
The individual was wearing a blue ball cap, possibly with the Cookie Monster character on it, khaki pants, and a dark belt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers.
