Shoppers around the Goodwill store on 23rd street were met with a flash mob on Saturday in honor of National Thrift Store Day.
Singing various popular songs ranging from the popular "Thriftshop" by Macklemore to "Cups" by Anna Kendricks, the group of 50 performers took over the store while using cups for percussion to entertain shoppers.
While the event was partially for fun, organizers also came hoping to spread a message of the work Goodwill does to help others.
"A lot of people think that they're just stores that are run, but what they don't know is that we teach people certain vocations." said Heather Gioia, "We help them get their GEDs, we help them find work."
Organizers say they hope the video will go viral, but for now are just happy to spread the word of the work of Goodwill.
