Students at Gulf Coast State College will have the opportunity to take the first step to take to the sky. Wednesday morning, Gulf Coast announced it's latest partnership which opens the door for residents interested in learning to fly.
The school has partnered with Precision Flight Training to offer the academic portion of the Federal Aviation Administration's requirements to become a licensed pilot.
The class lasts 8 weeks and is set to begin August 21st with classes taking place Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9. The course is part of Gulf Coast's Continuing Education program.
It costs $750 plus any additional materials required by instructors.
