Flood Disaster Recovery Centers Open

Flood victims in Okaloosa and Walton Counties can now visit local disaster recovery centers to register for federal assistance.

The Disaster Recovery Centers opened Saturday.

Sunday, they were open from 11:00 a.m. 7:00 at night.

Beginning Monday, the centers will be open 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The centers are located at the Senior Centerview Parks and Recreation in Crestviewe, and the Commmunity Church of Santa Rosa in Santa Rosa Beach.

Representatives from the State Emergency Response Team, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the US Small Business Administration will be available to answer questions.

Before heading to the nearest center to you, organizers are asking you register with FEMA first.
