The Florida Ethics Commission has cleared three area elected officials and dropped a complaint on a fourth in separate action on ethics complaints.
Walton county commissioner Larry Jones faced investigation on allegations had a conflict of interest because he worked for Waste Management in addition to being a commissioner. The allegations were dismissed.
The commission also found no probable cause in allegations against DeFuniak Springs City Councilman Paul Mac Work that he entered into a real estate agreement that could have influenced him with the DeFuniak Springs Code Enforcement Board.
No probable cause was found to allegations that Holmes County Commissioner Phillip Music had misused his position to receive a construction contract. There was not probable cause to allegations he had a contractual relationship with a construction company while it was doing business with Holmes County.
And the Ethics Commissioner dismissed a complaint against Warren J. Yeager, Jr , a Gulf County Commission for a lack of legal sufficiency.
