The Food Depot Grocery Store in Freeport is celebrating its customers this Fourth of July with an all day festival.
For the past six months, the store has posted some of its best numbers in sales for the Walton and Okaloosa County areas.
The store manager says July 3rd and 4th they're thanking their customers by offering activities, food, drinks and great sales.
"It's really because back when we were Kelly's we didn't really do anything for our customers honestly. We were here basically to keep the doors open. Literally work am to pm and just do what we need to do to keep the store open. Since we changed ownership our ownership team now is more of a family based and that's what i really want to do. I've got a whole new crew here. I've only got maybe three employees from back when we were Kelly's and I'm wanting to make the community feel like they're part of the family," said store manager Michael Cademartori.
The parking lot festival will also include a petting zoo, the Walton County Fire Department and Alaqua Animal Shelter pet adoptions.
