The local man, accused of a Sunday morning hit 'n run D-U-I crash that killed a Georgia woman, was in court Monday for a bond hearing.
Bay County Judge Joe Grammer ordered 22-year-old Robert Michael Dick III, held on 150-thousand dollars bond on DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash involving a death charges.
But Judge Grammer also order Dick held without bond, on a violation of probation charge.
The crash happened about 3:00 Sunday morning at the intersection of Back Beach Road (US Highway 98) and Allison Avenue at Panama City Beach. .
State troopers say Dick was heading westbound when he hit another vehicle from behind. The other car ran off the road and rolled over in the median.
The driver, 30-year old Tiffany Pruett, was injured and her passenger, 21-year old Kerri Ann Hall of Georgia was killed.
Authorities say Dick ran from the scene on foot. Beach Police arrested him a short distance away.
Dick already has an extensive arrest record. In December 2007, Bay and Walton county sheriff's deputies arrested him for allegedly trying to shoot and run-over 6-people in Inlet Beach.
He fired 8-shots at the group.
When Bay County sheriff's investigators searched his mothers Panama City Beach home they found all of these guns, ammunition, more than 30-grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They say dick had the marijuana hidden in a special secret compartment in his vehicle.
2-weeks later Holmes County sheriff's investigators charged Dick and an 18-year-old friend with armed burglary for stealing four handguns, two shotguns and a large duffel bag full of ammunition during a break-in at a home near Ponce de Leon.
Dick was still serving probation from these crimes when the crash happened Sunday morning.
So Judge Grammer held him without bond.
