Four Die in Northwest Florida Crash

Four persons were killed early Friday morning in a Gadsden County traffic crash.

All four were thrown from the speeding car as it crashed into two trees and then went down an embankment.

The crash happened at 2:30 Friday morning on Highbridge Road and Peters Road at Midway.

The four fatalities were identified by the Florida Highway Patrol as Harry Lee Thomas, III, 20, of Fayetteville, NC., Antwon Donte Lawson, 19, Ivan Roque Lawson, 20, and Terry Lee Padden, 30, all three from Midway.

Troopers say three of the fatalities were pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth came when one of the injured dies later at Tallahassee Memorial Medical Center.

Troopers say it has not been determined yet which occupant was the driver of the car.
