57 year old Gene Edward Alden was arrested early Saturday morning for possession of material including sexual conduct by child with intent to promote.
Now, Aldean has been charged with sexual battery on a child under 12.
The additional charges stem from further investigation by WCSO investigators assigned to the original case. In the investigation, law enforcement discovered that Alden had photographed a minor and was showing these photos to other people.
The new charge was added when additional victims were located.
Alden was given a bond of one million dollars.
This case is still active and pending further investigation.
