Front Beach Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Injured

PANAMA CITY BEACH-- One person is suffering serious injuries after a motorcycle accident.

Florida Highway Patrol says a 20-year-old woman was driving a Ford Mustang on Front Beach Road around 9:30 p.m. Friday.

She attempted a left turn and failed to yield to a motorcycle driving the other direction.

FHP officials say the fronts of the two vehicles collided, and the mustang crushed the motorcycle.

The woman driving the mustang did not sustain any injuries.

Officials sent the person on the motorcycle to Bay Medical Center.

FHP will not release the person's name until relatives are notified, but a trooper on the scene said the person is in stable condition.

So far no charges have been filed.
