Gas Prices Dropping Before Summer

BAY COUNTY-- Gas prices dipped a bit last week and that's likely to continue for the near future.

According to AAA, the price of oil fell for the first time in four months mainly because of increased supply and lower consumer spending. Also, Russia withdrew the majority of its military forces from the Ukrainian border, helping to ease concerns of a supply disruption.

AAA said crude oil stockpiles have reached their highest level since 1982

The national average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.67. Here in Florida, it's $3.60 a gallon.
