The Air Force is relieving the commander of the Air Force Special Operations Air Warfare Center based in Hurlburt Field of his duties.
The Air Force issued a statement Thursday saying Brig. Gen. Jon Weeks was relieved due to a loss of trust and confidence in his leadership.
Gen. Weeks is accused of having an inappropriate personal relationship. The Air Force did not disclose the nature of that relationship.
Gen. Weeks is an Air Force reservist who's been on active duty since February 2013. He's been temporarily reassigned as the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Operations at Air Force Special Command, pending the results of the investigation.
