Many credit Dunaway with bring the organization closer to the community.
The girls participate in projects ranging from planting trees at the conservation park to the helping with the council on aging's meals on wheels program.
"I'm going to miss everything about leaving. Our staff is phenomena, our teaching staff, our directors, our board of directors and of course the girls,” said Dunaway.
Dunaway accepted a job at gulf coast regional medical center, but plans to stay close to girls inc.
