The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners at a Sunday emergency meeting issued a mandatory evacuation for St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. A voluntary evacuation has been issued for non-residents for all of Indian Pass, Cape San Blas, and water side Hwy 98 and 30-A.

Conditions of the storm Isaac are likely to impact Indian Pass and road damages may occur near the stump hole on Cape San Blas. As a caution to the public, emergency services may not be available to assist if road damages do occur.

The Red Cross has made plans to open a shelter at the Honeyville Community Center, 240 Honeyville Park Dr., Wewahitchka, FL 32449 on Monday, August 27, at 9:00 am ET.

Gulf County schools will open at their regular time tomorrow morning, August 27, and will close at 12:00 pm for early dismissal.

The Gulf County Board of County Commission regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday August 28, at 6:00 pm ET has been cancelled. Their special meeting, scheduled for Tuesday August 28, at 5:00 pm ET has also been cancelled.

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will hold an emergency meeting on Monday, August 27 at 9:00 am ET.
