PANAMA CITY BEACH - After months of anticipation, Gulf Coast Jam got underway Thursday all over Panama City Beach.
With stages on the beach at Edgewater, Boardwalk, and Sharky's to entertain the daytime crowd, the big party started Thursday night at Frank Brown around 5:30 with Tate Stevens and Kip Moore taking the stage.
Stevens was last year's X-Factor television show winner and Kip Moore has three number ones on country radio, his latest being, "Hey Pretty Girl."
More acts are set to join in the next few days like Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Farr, Charlie Daniels Band, Corey Smith, Brantley Gilbert and Toby Keith.
There may even be a few surprise performers.
Tickets are still available at the gate or online.
Schedules and who will be playing where can be seen on an app that you can download onto any smart phone.
