PANAMA CITY BEACH - Tickets for the 2nd annual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam go on sale this week.
This year's line-up is much bigger than last year's inaugural jam.
Gulf Coast Jam has lined up three of the biggest names in country music for this year's event: Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood.
Gulf Coast Jam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady is promising an even bigger concert.
"This year we added one more headliner. Then next year it will be three headliners," Lovelady said.
Lovelady and his staff learned a lot from last year's jam and they're getting help from Panama City Beach officials.
The city is not limiting the number of tickets this year.
More people will mean more logistical preparation.
"We are bring in twice the buses this year than we has last year, so we will be able to move the traffic so it won't slow things down," Lovelady said.
The city also allow Lovelady to move the event up a few weeks to Labor Day weekend.
Event coordinators are reducing the number of daytime beach stages.
"We merged all three stages into one stage at the County Pier. They will able to see it, feel it, enjoy it, be there all day they won't have to move and they will have all the music right there," he said.
Last year 2,000 tourist bought tickets the first Gulf Coast Jam.
Lovelady is hoping more locals will get in on the fun this year.
"Probably one of my most discouraging part of last year's festival is that we sold less than a thousand tickets to locals. We want the locals to be involved. We want them to own this festival," he said.
Tickets go on sale at 10:00 Friday morning.
The 3-day pass is $109, but will go up in about a week.
