53 year old Esther Jean Wilson of Wewahitchka was found guilty of shooting her boyfriend, Walter L. Wright Jr., in the face during an argument on February 5, 2012.
Assistant State Attorney Bob Pell convicted Wilson without Wright’s cooperation. Wright refused to testify.
Jurors found Wilson guilty as charged of aggravated battery with a firearm with great bodily harm, a first-degree felony punishable by life in prison.
Circuit Judge Shonna Gay scheduled sentencing for April 25.
