Gulf Coast Shell Show Opens Residents Up To A New World

Residents of Bay County are getting a special chance to see and learn about seashells from around the world.

The Gulf Coast Shell Show began Friday night and will continue through Sunday afternoon. The show features shells from various locations and provides visitors with a unique learning opportunity as well as a time to purchase handmade seashell jewelry and artwork.

Shell collectors also come to the show to compete with one another in over 20 different categories tied to the scientific elements of their collections.
