PANAMA CITY BEACH - The Panama City Beach Police Department arrested 36 year old Nathan Combs for leaving the scene of a crash that sent a five year old boy to the hospital.

Police say Combs fled from the scene of a minor traffic crash at US 98 and Alf Coleman Road.

When officers attempted to pull him over, Combs reportedly refused to stop and a pursuit started.

He at one point tried to ram police cars during the chase, according to the Panama City Police Department.

Police say Combs made his way to Front Beach Road where he lost control and crossed into upcoming traffic lanes and hit a mini van with 5 people inside.

A five year old was transported to the Bay Medical Center for treatment.

After the crash, police say Combs took off on foot and was eventually arrested.

He faces several charges.
