Holmes County SO Seeks Public’s Assistance Identifying Burglary Suspect

The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Geneva, Alabama Police Department and the Geneva County, Alabama Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a burglary suspect.

Early Saturday morning, the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary at the Motley Mall Grocery in the New Hope Community near the Florida-Alabama Stateline.

Also that morning, the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office and the Geneva Police Department responded to burglaries at convenience stores in their jurisdiction.

Then Monday evening, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to another burglary at the Stateline Liquor Store in northern Holmes County.

Also during this time, the Geneva Police Department responded to a report of a stolen vehicle, which was used in the liquor store burglary and a vehicle burglary in their jurisdiction.

Surveillance footage from the liquor store shows a white male committing the burglary.
