Home Nearly Destroyed In Fire

Panama City- One Panama City home was nearly destroyed Sunday evening after a fire broke out.

A trailer on Nadine Road near Star Avenue caught fire around 8 pm.

No one was home at the time.

Bay County Sheriff's officials say flames were shooting through the roof when they first arrived, but fire fighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames and get the fire under control.

Authorities say the inside of the home sustained major damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
