Whethere you're thinking of remodeling your home or building a new one, now's the time to get some professional ideas for a low cost.
The Bay Building Industries Association held it's 4th annual Homebuilding Expo Saturday at the Holley Center on FSU's Panama City campus.
Those in attendance had a chance to learn about more than just the exterior of their home, but also all the details inside the house.
Officials also held seminars to teach homeowners about the importance of using licensed contractors, especially with the industry making strides in recent months.
"The building industry in this area, it's starting to see some growth," said Curtis Hartog with BBIA. "We had a lot of bad years, depreciating market and values going down. That's really changed, we're starting to see the values of homes going up people are more excited about remodeling their existing homes and also building new homes."
The expo will continue Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. It costs $3 per person of $8 per family with all proceeds going to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
