We now have a start date for the Highway 98/23rd Street flyover project.
Gov. Rick Scott pushed up the start date to sometime next year.
It's one of six Department of Transportation projects the governor is fast-tracking around the state.
Phase 1 and 2 of the flyover project will add elevated lanes to carry traffic over the intersection of Highway 98 and 23rd Street.
It will alleviate highway and railroad traffic caused by Port Panama City and Gulf Coast State College.
The construction will cost 95 million dollars.
Gov. Scott says he was able to advance the six projects due to an improving economy and the appropriation of 10 billion dollars to improve Florida's infrastructure.
